Workplace Relations 10 Point Health Check

When was the last time you had your Workplace Relations practices and procedures audited? If you are a CQ WRC Essentials or Comprehensive member, the 10 Point Health Check is included as part of your membership. Book now to avoid disappointment!

 

The Workplace Relations 10 Point Health Check is a comprehensive audit of your club’s practices and procedures to ensure the club is compliant with requirements of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), the National Employment Standards (NES) and the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 (the Award).

It also ensures that the club has measures in place to minimise risk through having sound engagement, induction, training and development, an understanding of the Award provisions, performance management and misconduct processes and record keeping obligations.


The 10 Point Health Check is included as part of the membership service for clubs who are CQ Essentials and Comprehensive members. As part of the Check, a Workplace Relations Specialist will review the following areas of your club:

  1. Commencing Employment 
  2. Policies and Procedures
  3. Modern Award and the NES 
  4. Letters of Appointment
  5. IFAs
  6. Salaried Arrangements
  7. Record Keeping: Time and Wage Records
  8. Leave Management
  9. Performance Management
  10. Dismissal Procedure

As an additional fee for service, the club has the option to receive a detailed Workplace Relations 10 Point Health Check Review and Report prepared with recommendations based on the findings during the Check in the format of a written report.

If the club do not wish to uptake the fee for service option of the detailed Review and Report, then the Workplace Relations 10 Point Health Checklist will be made available, which will provide a high-level overview for the club to address as they see fit.

Please note, the Check can be undertaken in person at the club or online via Teams. The review and report will usually take between 4-6 weeks to complete.  

Once you have booked, the Workplace Relations Team will be in touch to arrange a suitable date.

Bookings are essential for all events to avoid disappointment. All booking must be paid in full prior to the event.

Registration Cancellation Policy Events and Training: 
You must inform the Clubs Queensland in writing if you wish to cancel part or full registration at least seven (7) full working days prior to the Event/Training Course date to receive a full refund.
