Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence – POSTPONED
It is with heavy heart that we announce the Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence 2020 are NOT GOING AHEAD as scheduled this Tuesday (17 March 2020)
It is with heavy heart that we announce the Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence 2020 are NOT GOING AHEAD as scheduled this Tuesday (17 March 2020), on the back of Federal and State Government recommendations today around the containment of coronavirus in our country.
The event will be postponed, with Clubs Queensland looking to reschedule the event to later this year. We will communicate this to you once we know more.
Clubs Queensland CEO Doug Flockhart said the postponement was a precautionary measure in the interests of public safety.
“Our Prime Minister has this afternoon made a recommendation against non-essential organised gatherings of 500 people or more from Monday onwards, which has seen our board make the very hard decision to postpone next week’s planned event,” Mr Flockhart said.
Clubs Queensland will be looking to reschedule the event to later this year and we will communicate this to you once we know more.
