Access to Clubs Queensland’s Workplace Relations & Compliance (WRC) Service
If the rate of industrial relations issues and the ever-changing awards environment are anything to go by your club needs to consider maintaining your subscription to the WR ESSENTIALS
or upgrading to the COMPREHENSIVE
level of the WRC Service. This suite of WRC Services have been specifically designed to reflect the current and emerging needs of our sector.
Annually, Clubs Queensland (CQ) provided over 5000 advices to Clubs. Industrial Relations issues will continue to confront our industry and your WRC Service membership includes access to a range of services provided by our industrial relations lawyers who have an in-depth ‘specialist’ knowledge of the club industry.
Clubs Queensland Director and Governance Training
Governance is more than a buzzword. It is critical to the compliance, operations and ultimately, the success of your club. Clubs Queensland provides members with a range of free governance information and updates, and we also provide members with governance and compliance training for heavily subsidised member rates.

Clubs Queensland Events, Bespoke Industry Training Seminars and Courses
Clubs Queensland provides members with a veritable banquet of activities to participate in. From training courses to webinars and seminars; exclusive conferences and forums; the Australasian Hospitality and Gaming Expo, and of course, the prestigious Keno Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence. There is something for everyone!
As a member, you can get free access to select events and others are at special, discounted member prices.
CQ members receive wagering rebates on Sky Channel of either
- 30% - if their AWT* (Average Weekly Turnover) is greater than $10,000
- 60% - if their AWT* is less than $10,000.
The above is paid to members on the second week of each month through their commission statement.
* AWT (Average Weekly Turnover) – This is assessed and calibrated annually.
In addition, Sky provide CQ members a 15% peak body discount off the cost of Sky Channel. This is detailed via Sky Channels monthly invoicing.
The above applies only to Sky Racing Channels (and not the incoming Sky Sports Channels).

Club Container Recycling
Your club has access to the Club Container Recycling Program. This program has been developed in partnership with Scout Recycling and is a simple, effective way to manage your on-premises recyclable containers and reap the rewards of the new rebate scheme on approved containers.
