Grant Writing Workshop - Part 1

Grant Writing Workshop - Part 1

We are pleased to announce the first CQ Grant Writing Workshop, sponsored by AustralianSuper. Prue Saxby from the Grant Writing Academy will deliver two online grant workshops in 2024, providing insightful segments, rich content, and practical takeaways tailored to the community clubs industry.

The first two-hour workshop is expertly crafted to demystify the grant application process, equipping you with valuable skills to proficiently secure crucial funds for your club.

Topic: Get ready for grants

This session will cover:

  • Understand what grantors want – explore key areas that grantors prioritise, such as aligning your project with their vision, demonstrating a strong project delivery capability, and emphasising the crucial aspect of "value for money".
  • Create an 'About Your Organisation' statement – an essential element of every grant application. Engage in a hands-on segment where you not only learn but also draft a statement ready for inclusion in future grant applications.
  • Understand the grant process – learn all about navigating the application process, from the initial alignment to final submission, ensuring you stay ahead of the curve.
  • Leverage proven tips from our Grant Master – benefit from Prue’s extensive experience (having assisted clients in securing over $51 million in grant funds over the last six years) with exclusive tips and tricks that will provide you that much-needed advantage in your applications.

This is a virtual event and registered participants will be sent a Zoom link by email the day before.

Please note, this is a live workshop and will not be recorded.
