Workplace Relations Seminar - 8/11/19

Dealing with employee misconduct issues can be stressful, unpleasant and disruptive to your club. It is important to deal with such issues properly to minimise the risk of costly legal proceedings and look after the rights and well-being of all involved.

– Navigating those difficult conversations and employee reactions to misconduct and disciplinary action can be challenging. Derek will provide you with some tools and strategies on how best to approach such situations.

– A representative from the QPS will advise when and how an employer should notify the police when dealing with common misconduct matters including physical assaults, theft of money, fraud and possession of drugs at the workplace and the process of investigations.
