The Clubs Queensland team is a group of highly skilled professionals who love what they do and who work tirelessly to ensure member’s needs are not only met, but exceeded!

In addition they ensure the ‘community club’ message and issues of relevance are continually profiled with local, state, and federal politicians and governments, both via bureaucrats and directly.  Issues management and information provision is also integral to the full suite of member services provided on a daily basis.

Daniel Nipperess - GENERAL MANAGER

Daniel comes to Clubs Queensland having spent a number of years practising as a solicitor in the workplace relations field for a national top-tier law firm. Daniel has particular expertise in advising on dismissals, workplace discrimination and work health and safety matters (including bullying and harassment). Daniel holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from QUT and a Graduate Diploma a Legal Practice from the College of Law.  Daniel is a solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. Having grown up in Brisbane, Daniel is an avid Brisbane Broncos supporter. In his spare time, he enjoys getting to the beach, playing music, engaging in the odd culinary challenge in the kitchen and producing a selection of home brewed craft ales.


Ahmed joins the team at Clubs Queensland with experience in a number of industries and roles, spanning from hospitality to legal. Ahmed is currently completing his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree at the University of Queensland and has been working in the Australian Army Reserves for the past 2 years as an infantry solider. Ahmed will also be undertaking clerkships at a number of national top-tier law firms. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, playing sports – volleyball and football, and spending time with friends and family. 


Jasmin joins the team at Clubs Queensland after working in the Royal Australian Air Force for the past 12 years, with experience in administration, HR, operations and project management. Jasmin is an admitted lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Laws from CQU and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law. Growing up in South Australia and having the opportunity to live in various different states and cities, Jasmin now calls Queensland home. In her down time, Jasmin enjoys trips to the beach with her partner Ben and their 2 dogs, finding new cafes and restaurants to indulge and spending time with friends and family.


Jason has an exemplar background in the community club industry, with his most recent role running a group of three successful clubs – Cazalys (300 gaming machines), Trinity Beach (82 gaming machines), and South Cairns Sports (60 gaming machines).  Prior to his 10-year stint in the Cairns market, he also spent three years as General Manager at the Moranbah Community Workers Club west of Mackay. In addition, he has spent a short period on the Board of Clubs Queensland while also being a long-standing member of the clubs advisory group.


Kerri has 30 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping and joined the Clubs Queensland team in 2008. Kerri is responsible for member engagement and the financial administration, keeping the financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable.  Kerri loves the gym, weekends at the kids’ football, camping and an adrenalin rush – motor bike rides, parachuting, hot air ballooning, and quad biking.


Nat joins Clubs Queensland after spending two years practising as a solicitor in workplace relations and property law at a busy community legal centre in Brisbane. Nat is a qualified lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from UQ and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Nat spent a two year stint in Melbourne where she acquired a love for powerlifting, eating the latest in food trends and watching AFL. She’s a keen Western Bulldogs supporter but admits to having the West Coast Eagles as her ‘backup’ team.   


Natalie is responsible for the planning, marketing, operational logistics and event administration of Club Queensland’s events and joins the organisation with over eight years’ experience in event management. She holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in event management. Outside of work, Natalie is an avid foodie, cook and cat shirt collector, and enjoys going to gym, a good Pinot Noir and spending time with her husband and her dog, Benji.


Rowan assists in the financial management of Clubs Queensland, including financial records, budgets and reporting.  He joined Clubs Qld in August 2009, having previously worked in two Brisbane accounting firms and also as a financial accountant for St Vincent’s and Holy Spirit Health.  Away from work, Rowan enjoys running and enters marathons and half marathons.  He also enjoys watching cricket and football and spending time with his family and their pet dogs.


Sharna has a background in the Community Club Industry with her most recent role managing Easts Leagues Club for the past 20 years.  During this time Sharna was involved in the management of the Brisbane Broncos Leagues Club when Easts acquired the Management Rights in 2015, and is currently a Board Member of the Brisbane Broncos Leagues Club. Sharna holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and is a qualified CPA.  Away from work Sharna enjoys walking her dogs and playing golf.


Simran comes to Clubs Queensland with a keen attitude to help our community clubs. Simran believes that clubs are at the heart of our community and she is dedicated to providing support and advice to our members. Simran is currently completing her final semester of study for her dual degree of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at Griffith University. Away from work, Simran loves to go to the gym, baking or exploring nature but most of all, Simran loves spending time with family and friends. 


Tamara joins the team at Clubs Queensland after 23 years in the Club and Hospitality Industry. During her time in the Industry, she has managed various positions in Clubs and specialised in Gaming and Gaming Sales. She has enjoyed building long standing relationships within this great industry we work in and looks forward to continuing them in her new role. In her downtime she enjoys a healthy lifestyle full of exercise, watching her children participate in their sporting activities and of course weekend vinos.


Tina comes to Clubs Queensland with an extensive events background both in Australia and overseas.  The Club environment offers an opportunity to immerse herself in a new industry after nearly six years directing events at development industry body UDIA Queensland. Tina's background also includes roles with the Royal International Convention Centre, and British American Racing’s Formula 1 team managing sponsor and driver PR days, and corporate events worldwide.  She migrated to Brisbane over 15 years ago with a young family from London, loves to travel, watching football (soccer!), a good Netflix binge and a great margarita!
