Clubs Queensland provides the industry with a broad range of training and development opportunities for all levels of club personnel – from line staff through to management and boards and committees.
All courses are conducted by experienced facilitators with relevant qualifications. This ensures your investment produces the required rate of return that impacts on your club's operation immediately. Courses range from half-day introductory sessions to advanced mutli-day programs designed specifically with the needs of the club industry in mind.
Professional Development Seminars
The one-day seminars aim to bring industry leaders together to discuss issues of importance to the club industry. The forums include discussion panels, presentations and networking opportunities.
Board/Committee Leadership Program
A leadership program specifically deisgned for Boards and Committees. Ensure your club has appropriate understanding and knowledge in place for effective administration by it's Directors/Committee Members.
Gaming Nominee Training
QOGR legislated in 2005 that all new Gaming Nominees complete this course as part of their nominee application process.
Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue
Clubs Queensland in conjunction with Club Training Australia is delivering across Queensland this two-day ‘Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue’ (RMLV) course as required by all ‘Approved Managers’ under new 2009 legislation.
Food Safety & HACCP Training
This one-day course includes modules required by legislation for Food Safety Supervisors and is directed towards kitchen managers, chefs, senior management and catering staff.
Customer Liaison Officer Training
For gaming employees and Customer Liaison Officers, participants will become familiar with their roles in the exclusion process and know how to handle what can often be a sensitive and difficult situation.
Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gaming
Two of the most fundamental training courses that all clubs can benefit from. These nationally recognised programs are run ONLINE via etrainu for flexibilty and convenience.
