PRIVACY CODE THREE YEARLY REVIEW

The Queensland Club Industry Privacy Code was approved by the Federal Privacy Commissioner on 7 August 2002 and came into effect on 23 August 2002.

The Privacy Code applies to member clubs of Clubs Queensland, which have formally subscribed to it. These members are listed under the ‘Privacy Code Members' link above.  

Section 14 of the Privacy Code states that the Privacy Code must be reviewed at least every three years and the review must be done in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

As part of this review process, Clubs Queensland encourages all stakeholders, particularly club members and contractors/suppliers of applicable Privacy Code Members, to submit their views on any aspect of the operation of the Privacy Code in these clubs.
