Under the industry wide code of conduct for responsible gambling, management have obligation to ensure that staff are trained in responsible gaming procedures and protocols. This will enable licensed premises to ensure that players are advised and supported in relation to gaming operations and gaming support services.
The Responsible Service of Gambling program covers:
- The context of responsible gambling
- Understanding the Gaming Act and its regulations
- Venue and staff responsibilities
- How to deal with staff problem gamblers
- Procedures to be followed in dealing with problem gamblers
Clubs Queensland offers Responsible Service of Gaming training in three different formats;
- as an in-house session at your club
- in public scheduled courses through Club Training Australia
- or online via Club Training Australia's elearning
In-House RSG Training For only $850* have up to 20 of your staff trained in RSG. If your club does not have 20 participants we suggest you contact surrounding venues that offer gaming services and invite them along to your training.
