The setting up process and progression of current RGnets across Queensland
- Since mid 2008 (18th AUGUST) through to 2010 RGnets have been set up in the following regions, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Maryborough and Caboolture, they are based on the original Gold Coast RGnet meeting that has existed for many years.

The standard meeting structure -
- RG Net Terms of Reference and Outcomes documents – which draw attention to the priority areas: to develop partnerships, to provide a forum for exchange of information and to provide a forum to raise issues related to the gambling industry in general.
- Feedback from RGAC representative on RGAC matters.
- Minutes (person nominated to document the meetings)

Presenters -
- OLGR Compliance Officer, are invited to present information around compliance and assessment, including OLGR’s increased focus on harm minimisation, legislative components, Code of Practice components and post inspection procedure.
- Queensland Police - “Appropriate responses from Industry in dealing with patron threats to staff and persons presenting with suicide ideation”
- Police Liaison Officers (PLOs) can be viewed as a reliable source for venues to seek information on culturally specific issues.
- The Salvation Army’s Recovery Services Centre “ Moonyah” – Topic focus : Drugs and Gambling.
- Professor Nerilee Hing – at Southern University and Head of its Centre for Gambling Education and Research.
- David Schwarz – high profile sporting personality (ALH Group) on overcoming gambling.
