Robert Baker, of the Gambling Help Services (GHS) Lifeline in Cairns approached Clubs Queensland with the idea to develop a poster for all clubs which would cover all the required player information and would align with the Queensland Responsible Gambling Code of Practice.
The RG Poster is a concise Player Information Guide that assists patrons to make an informed decision about gambling in a venue. It contains information on government regulations, gambling products and services offered by the venue, player return rates and chances of winning and some basic suggestions to help patrons enjoy gambling within their means. The Guide supports the Queensland Responsible Gambling Code of Practice in the responsible provision of gambling products and services by a venue.
