Brad Oats has been involved in the hospitality industry for 16 years, starting in hotels. He joined the Ayr Anzac Memorial Club as Duty Manager 14 years ago, and has been the General Manager of the club for the past 12 years.
A keen golfer, Brad has served 2 years on the Ayr Golf Club Committee. Brad joined the Clubs Queensland Board as the Northern Zone Chairman on 23 May 2007.
Maria Johnstone , Western Zone Chair
Finance Manager, Carpentaria Buffalo Club

Maria Johnstone has been employed by the award winning Carpentaria Buffalo Club in Mount Isa for several years as Finance Manager. She has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Certificate IV in Hospitality (Supervision) and is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified). As the Finance Manager of a community club she is involved on a daily basis with the financial and administrative operations and issues that Clubs face. Maria is a Board Member and Treasurer of the Zonta Club of Mount Isa , part of Zonta International, the worldwide organisation dedicated to advancing the status of women . She is also the Registrar of the Mount Isa Athletics Club and Treasurer and member of the Catholic Community Ball committee.
Maria is also actively involved in the Mount Isa Netball Association as a previous committee member, and currently as a player, umpire and representative team manager.

Experience in the industry: Will became involved in the club industry over 11 years ago, as the Marketing Manager at Tamworth Services Club and later served as Sub – Assistant Manager at South Sydney Leagues Club from 1998-1999.
Will is committed to continuing with the Zone’s current efforts to achieve a higher profile for clubs in the Capricornia Zone, to improve communication throughout the zone and to ensure that all clubs, irrespective of type or size, are effectively represented on the Board of Clubs Queensland

Experience in the Industry: Commenced employment in the Club industry in 1990. 13 years of Senior Management roles within the prosperous and award winning Hervey Bay RSL Team. Previously Leasee / Manager in the Hotel Industry in Qld for 14 years.
I am honoured to be serving on the Board of Clubs Qld. With Hospitality industry experience of 28 years, I hope to contribute to assist in the continued growth and development of Clubs in Queensland.

Allan Coe, Sunshine Coast Zone Chair
Treasurer, Bribie Island RSL & Citizen Memorial Club

Allan Coe has been on the Board of Directors of the Bribie Island RSL & Citizens Memorial Club for over 4 years and has held the position of treasurer for the past 3 years.
Allan owns a small business and lives on beautiful Bribie Island. He is the owner/manager of the Bank of Queensland Bribie Island which he established in August 2004. Allan says he is a career banker starting with Bank of Queensland as a teller in the early 1990’s.
He spent three years with Suncorp Bank in a Premier Client Manager role before returning to the Bank of Queensland in 2003. During his banking career he completed a business degree with a double major in marketing and e-commerce.
Allan is married with two young children and makes the most of the rare spare time he has to spend with his family. He’s a keen cyclist and also enjoys fishing, boating and camping.
Peter Garrod, Darling Downs & South West Zone
General Manager, Club Glenvale

Peter Garrod joined Club Glenvale, formerly known as Toowoomba Hockey Club, in 2000 as General Manager. He has been involved in the hospitality industry for 23 years.
Peter is passionate about contributing to the continued growth and development of community clubs in the Darling Downs and South West Queensland area.
He is married with two children.
Robert Ebborn, Brisbane North Zone Chair

Bob Ebborn is the current President of Club Pine Rivers, having been elected unopposed at the last A.G.M. He was also Club President in 2009.
Bob was also an executive member (junior vice-president and senior president) of the Brisbane North District Bowls Association (BNDBA) for four years – and President of BNDBA in 2007.
He was the Club Pine Rivers Secretary for 10 years and an executive member for 8 years.
Bob finished his working life as a Principal Technical Officer at Telstra and has an Arts degree, majoring in Political Science, Economics and Australian History.
Mal Cochrane, Brisbane South East Zone Chair
General Manager, Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club

Experience in Industry: Mal has been the General Manager at Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club since Nov 1998. He has been a Clubs Queensland Board member since 2002 previously serving on the finance committee.
He has also been involved on various sub committees involved in anti smoking legislation and the search for and subsequent purchase of Clubs Queensland premises at Northgate.
Mal is looking forward to assisting all clubs in his zone to lift their profile in the community and to improve the public perception of clubs in Queensland overall.

Community Service: Member of Finance & Facilities Committee St Edmunds College, Selector Brothers Football Club, also served as Coach & Manager. Guest speaker for Saint Mary's Employment Group on numerous occasions.
Experience in the Industry: Served as Chairman of Brothers Leagues Club for 4 years prior to appointment as Secretary Manager. Now in 10th year as Secretary/Manager. Qualified as a Workplace Rehabilitation Coordinator. Clubs Queensland Board Member since 1999.

Experience in the Industry: Terry McDonald has been involved in the club industry for over 30 years, as a member and Committee person, and for the last 9 years as President of Nerang RSL & Memorial Club. In this role Terry, through his "hands on" approach, shows tireless energy, enthusiasm and dedication in assisting and giving back to the local community. He also holds the positions of Treasurer of Nerang RSL Sub Branch, President Clubs Qld Gold Coast Zone and on the Committee of the Clubs Qld Advisory Board.
Scott Wilkinson, Whitsunday Zone ChairPresident, The Glenden Town Club Ltd

Scott was elected to represent the Whitsunday Zone on 16 June. He’s in his seventh year of serving on Glenden Town Club Board and is currently Chairman of the board.
The club also incorporates the Glenden Bowls Club and Glenden Golf Club.
Over 20 years he served in the Australian Regular Army, (Returned Serviceman), the Victorian Police Force and the Queensland Police Service and is currently working at Xstrata’s Newlands open cut mine.
Scott lives in Glenden and is married to Renae. The couple has four children.
