Doug Flockhart            
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Doug is the CEO of Clubs Queensland, which was formed in 1977.  He has over 27 years in leadership positions as an owner-operator, consultant, and senior Management Executive in the Tourism, Retail, Property and Hospitality (Restaurant, Hotel, Club) sectors, with a focus on innovation, implementation, professionalism, communication and relationships.  He is a current director on the board of Club Super and is a past board member of the Qld Governments Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing  ‘Queensland Gaming Commission’ and the Queensland Department of Primary Industry - Food and Fibre Sciences Division, Centre for Food Technology.

Born in Brisbane, he is married with two children and has a passion for many things including flying.  Doug holds a Private Pilots license with a Command Instrument Rating and he has been flying since the age of sixteen.


Astra Dadzis
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Astra Dadzis has an extensive background as a journalist and has enjoyed a number of varied media roles, including as a media adviser to the Premier of South Australia. Astra is enthusiastic about joining the Clubs Queensland team and helping spread the word about how valuable community clubs are, as Communications Manager and editor of Club Insight. She loves the outdoors and relaxes by swimming, snorkelling, walking, cooking and spending time with friends. Astra also enjoys photography and has a long list of favourite places in Queensland.  When she visits family in South Australia, the number one spot is the family shack on the River Murray. 


Eric Porter
WORKPLACE RELATIONS MANAGER

Eric has over 40 years experience in providing human resource management and workplace relations services to large organisations. He holds tertiary qualifications in industrial relations and management.

Eric has had extensive experience in representation in industrial tribunals and the magistrates court, drafting and negotiating agreements and employment contracts.
He provides guidance on general human resource management principles including policy development and implementation as well as assistance with all workplace issues.
When he's not working, Eric enjoys sailing the seas on his yacht.


Mukesh Prasad
POLICY AND RESEARCH MANAGER

Mukesh comes to Clubs Queensland with a solid background in industry research and policy development. He provides policy advice to members on various laws that impact on club operation, as well as develops and administers codes, manuals, policy guidelines, and other resources to supplement policy advice. In addition, Mukesh conducts industry surveys and profiling activities; undertakes research on emerging club issues; and writes policy articles for industry publications. An integral part of Mukesh's role is drafting industry submissions and comments to review announced by the Government or otherwise requested by third parties.


Ray Phillips

RELATIONSHIPS MANAGER

Ray Phillips is Relationships Manager for the Association and keeps the information flowing between Clubs Queensland, member clubs and associate members. Ray's prime responsibility is maintaining and developing relationships to share good news about the club industry. Ray has exceptional experience in public speaking, network building, sponsor liaison, event coordination, and as an MC for events. Ray spends a lot of time out on the road visiting clubs and engaging with our supporters. He is an accomplished Queensland cricketer and is Chairman of the State's selectors. He's also a keen golfer and a collector of good jokes.


Rose Edgar
OFFICE MANAGER

Rose came to Clubs Queensland a decade ago as a temp and within the year decided to stay!  Rose has a diverse range of administrative knowledge and customer service skills acquired during 30 years working in property development, real estate, recruitment and not-for-profit sectors.  Rose’s energy and love of life show in her commitment to supporting clubs, the Clubs Queensland team and her family and friends. Rose is very proud of her grandchildren and has many varied interests outside work, including bush walking, water activities, camping, tennis, photography, antiques, art and travel.


Amy Tolhurst

MARKETING & SPONSORSHIP CO-ORDINATOR

Amy returned from living in London and working in marketing and communications for a national company to join Clubs Queensland in December 2008. Amy has a Business degree with a major in marketing from QUT and previous work experience in the advertising industry. Her focus is to support our Associates, deliver events and coordinate marketing activities. During her time abroad Amy travelled extensively throughout Europe and the USA . These days Amy spends her spare time going to the gym and socialising!  She is planning to compete in triathlons this year, including the renowned annual Noosa Tri.


Peta Lewis
EVENT & MEMBERSHIP CO-ORDINATOR

Peta joined the Clubs Queensland team in February 2010 as Event & Membership Co-ordinator.
Peta is well credentialed to ensure the efficient delivery of Clubs Queensland’s extensive events and membership programs, having worked for the Queensland Cricketers’ Club, the Gold Coast Turf Club, Gold Coast Events Management and the Emerald Lakes Golf Club.

She works alongside Club Queensland’s Relationship Manager, Ray Phillips, coordinating Clubs Queensland’s membership base including managing new and servicing existing members.
Peta loves working in a productive team environment and is looking forward to servicing Queensland’s community clubs as part of the dedicated Clubs Queensland team. On weekends she likes relaxing with good friends - and that usually involves plenty of football and a few coldies!


Katie Langley

WORKPLACE RELATIONS OFFICER

Katie joined the team in Dec 2007 and is the first point of call for industrial relations and human resources information and advice for clubs. Katie has a Bachelor of Business degree with a Major in Human Resource Management. She is passionate about providing excellent customer service and enjoys the daily contact with people from all over Queensland. Katie loves to laugh, going to the movies, reading and spending time with family and friends. Katie is a card carrying Generation Y - but don't hold that against her.


Don Lewis

SENIOR ACCOUNTS CONSULTANT

Assists with the Financial Management of Clubs Queensland, formulation of budgets and general financial administration.


Rowan Todd
ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Rowan assists in the financial management of Clubs Queensland, including financial records, budgets and reporting.  He joined Clubs Qld in August 2009, having previously worked in two Brisbane accounting firms and also as a financial accountant for St Vincent’s and Holy Spirit Health.  Away from work, Rowan enjoys running and enters marathons and half marathons.  He also enjoys watching cricket and football and spending time with his wife and their beagle.


Kerri Hutchison
ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Kerri Hutchison assists with the financial administration and keeps the financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Kerri has 27 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping and joined the Clubs Qld team in June 2008, returning to work after 4 years caring for her family. Kerri has a busy family of five kids, just like the Brady bunch and the oldest boy is Greg! A fitness nut, Kerri loves the gym, weekends at the kids' soccer and league, and an adrenalin rush - motor bike rides, parachuting, hot air ballooning, quad biking and has climbed the Storey Bridge!


Maree Smith
RECEPTIONIST

Telephone responsibilities, receipt & distribution of mail and faxes, general office assistance with administrative duties.
Away from club land, Maree’s interests are focused on her 9 grandchildren whilst adapting to a life style in her new house on acreage.


Ana Gillespie
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Ana joined Clubs Queensland in 2007 after  time out from the workforce to spend time with her children, now busy teenagers. Ana has a qualification in Business Administration  and over 10 years of experience in administrative and organisational coordination. Born in Argentina, Ana came to Australia over 32 years ago and speaks Spanish and Italian. Ana loves going to the markets in the early hours of the morning, followed by an ocean swim at the Sunshine Coast, and she also likes to spend time with her budgie Rex who is a chatter box.
