Having an employee sign on to a position description provides clarity for the Club and employee regarding the employee’s roles and responsibilities. Importantly, it also provides a benchmark upon which a Club can manage an employee’s performance.

Clubs Queensland has made drafting a position description easy by providing members with template position descriptions for all positions with the Club. Clubs should note that these position descriptions are draft templates and should be adapted to suit the specific roles and responsibilities of the position at the Club.
